Maybe not children in actual years, but mentally...

Trump supporters are not the problem when it comes to those who have been desensitized by way of over-saturation. The ones who are relevant are huge number of people in the middle.

I think it is the boy who cried wolf effect. Many started pointing out that parable years ago and it has compounded significantly since then. It is more than just his supporters who have been desensitized.

I've heard a Trump supporter during an interview say she had never heard about these scandals from her right wing news sources. Now she's confused, as this was coming from her republican representative who is now Anti-Trump.

It is all those who have heard the encyclopedia of scandals that have gone nowhere who are relevant.

Tell that to all the Trump aides and appointees who have lost their jobs, are under indictment, or even convicted.

On the contrary; Trump supporters are more often than not low information voters who buy into everything Trump says when legitimate news outlets try to tell them otherwise.

Trump supporters who are not hearing about the scandal of the week are obviously not the ones who have been desensitized by over-saturation. Not the ones comparing it to the boy who cried wolf.

Low on emotional intelligence i.e. react to Fox news based on "gut feelings" rather than rationale/critical thought

In my experience that has hardly been exclusive to Fox news viewers.

But it's hardly "the boy who cried wolf." This current President has embroiled himself into a sea of trouble that no other before him has. Just because you dismiss it hardly makes it untrue.

I am not talking about me. I am talking about an effect regarding the public in general. I know that you don't want there to be millions of people who have become desensitized but that has happened nonetheless. Right now it is the Epstein scandal. A little time before that it was something else. In a relatively short time it will be some new scandal.

Yeah, fake scandals to stop Trump again as shown by the undercover worker for Google.

Yet there are millions more who are not desensitized, but are outraged by Trump all the more by each scandal piling on top of the last.

These days who can tell what is real or fake. Unless whatever includes an actual indictment it just ends up looking like more of the same.

One can almost guarantee as soon as this scandal goes nowhere like all the others, something will replace it and then something will replace that and so on ad infinitum.
