Read the bottom line.
Restricted areas have lots of those. You can't really miss them.
You cross that line you knowingly and willfully put your ass in peril (e.g. arrested and prosecuted, attacked by dogs, shot, etc..). I would be deeply disappointed if the Air Force didn't deal with them very harshly for thier indiscretion.
And to save time later:
Question: But Raptor, what if they are just a bunch of restless college kids looking for an adventure???
Answer: They can still read and choose, and then live (or die) according to those choices.
Question: But Raptor, what if people bring thier kids along. Do you advocate shooting or sicking dogs on children????
Answer: In that case the parents (having read those signs) are responsible for knowingly and willfully putting thier children in danger and if they are still alive they should be prosecuted for child endangerment to add to their other charges.
Question: But Raptor, shouldn't american citizens be allowed access to any military installation? I mean, what do they have to hide from thier own citizens??
Answer: Sigh....It's not even my area of expertise but I could write page upon page on national security and the need for installation security integrity, but that would be a waste of time here. Instead just refer to that sign, especially the deadly force authorized part. That's really all you need to understand.

Not sure if you remember what happened with "restless college students" protesting against the Vietnam war in the 1960s but the moment the police started killing young people it was a public relations disaster on a monumental scale.
Images uploaded on mobile phones of American children getting their brains blown out by US military personnel (supposedly employed with their tax dollars to protect them) will cause national outrage (I guarantee) even with the "Verboten" no trespassing signs and trespassers will be shot signs.
I remains to be seen if the "kids" do cross over?

I do remember and that isn’t how it went down.
Yes Kent State did cause a wave of violent and non violent protest, the largest student strike in American history.
Kent State Shootings
Students from Kent State and other universities often got a hostile reaction upon returning home. Some were told that more students should have been killed to teach student protesters a lesson; some students were disowned by their families.
And Nixon won reelection in a massive landslide two years later.
But this is 2019 not 1970. A bunch of people who watched too many X-Files episodes would not be viewed in the same light as “treasonous” anti war protesters. There is social media, we are more sensitive etc so it would be a PR disaster as well as a real disaster because a lot more then 4 people would be killed.

That information should make people shudder about the minds of the American populace that they would consider it alright to kill their own kids to make some type of point?? again within our lifetime! scary
I'm assuming the kiddies make good on their promise to storm Area 51 then we are looking at mass casualties on a scale hither to unheard off. I am guessing it will end up being a "mexican standoff" though....

Off topic: Those reactions would surprise nobody who was around and not in a liberal bubble during that era. Until recently that part of history of that era has been whitewashed. History is written by the winners and the “winners” were the anti-war people, the US was beaten in Vietnam, and Nixon was forced to resign. They wrote that Kent State galvanized the public in favor of the righteous anti war movement. True to a point, it galvanized both sides. That partial version serves the purposes of both sides. That version means the anti war people can take credit for “ending the war”. If you were of the mind that “a good hippie is a dead hippie” a phrase I heard and overheard more then once that is not something you want to brag about or even remember. The WWII generation fought in and agreed with that war no questions asked. Many of that generation viewed the anti war people as traitors pure and simple. Added to that that radically different look, lifestyle, music etc. Add to that the association with college students who get exemptions while their kids were drafted the reasons for such animus should be understood.
That class divide is something Trump who was around understands. Those who were not around often have trouble understanding the fear among older progressives of left overreach in areas such as Antifa, socialism, woke politics etc.
A non trivial historical note. We almost had a mass causality event at Woodstock. The early reports were of anarchy. New York Governor Nelson Rockefeller had to be talked out of sending in the National Guard.

You make a valid point. People think the images of white mobs attacking blacks trying to break Jim Crow ended in the early 1960s but there's clearly photographs of hostile mobs of white folk in northern states attacking black swimmers in 1975, clearly this type of mob mentality is reflected in the hatred of anti-war college students whom the bulk of Americans also hated because of their support for black civil rights. Obviously the old conservative ways were creeping under the surface all the time and has re-emerged with the advent of Trump.

Still time to book your tickets folks....
