Sadly...it's false.

I was excited as anyone else over the prospect of "meth gators", but because I fact check everything, the story is traced back to a Facebook post by the Loretto Police Department in Tennessee, who had raided a meth lab and found its occupants trying to flush their product down the toilet; while the environmental effects of flushing drugs are indeed negative, their warning of "[creating] meth-gators" was intended as nothing more than a joke, and as their post went viral, they quickly deleted it. A quick browse of their Facebook page shows whomever operates it indeed posts with a lot of sarcastic humor.

Always check your sources, kids.
