I despise a lot kids I went to school with

I figured that based on the way you talk about the Covington high school kids. That's why I asked about it.

My point is anger was misdirected. At least if he's going to take out people then aim for the school bullies.

Instead he took out innocent people.

But in the end, which side has committed the most murders in recent times?

Domestically; mainly lone individuals or sometimes a pair of individuals operating on their own.

Overseas; appearntly it is party D.

As white nationalists urge each other to take action on sites like 4Chan and 8Chan, and are in constant communication with one another, it's hardly the case where right wing shooters are ultimately alone.

I have studied most of the mass shooters and as far as I know none credited 4chan or 8chan or gave any indication they were tied in with those websites. According to forensic analysis they are for the most part classified as loners carrying a personal grudge. Do you have any forensic data supporting your claim?

You are mistaken. The one in El Paso in fact had put his manifesto on 8Chan shortly before his rampage. And even before then, he had read every sort of insane racial fantasy about brown immigrants coming to breed us out and take our jobs on 8Chan. Now, that deplorable site is being taken down.

Him posting it on 8chan is not an indication that he was influenced by 8chan nor like I said did he credit 8chan or anything/anyone else as far as I know.

Fredrick Brennan the founder of 8chan called for the site to be shut down.

Anybody read about the “hit list” and “rape list” the shooter had in high school?

Of course he was influenced by 8Chan! His search history reveals he had eaten up BS about whites becoming an endangered species due to non-white immigration, which is the basis for his racist rant prior to the attack.
Why defend these wastes of working human organs? Just because Fredrick Brennan now calls for shutting down his own hate site hardly absolves him of the hate and harm he's ultimately responsible for spreading.

It’s irrelevant whether he was a Neo-Nazi or a adherent of World Peace.

You have nuts on both sides of the philosophical spectrum.

What’s relevant is that he killed people. For no justifiable reason. Being bullied doesn’t count.

Probably, loneliness, not having a “life,” becoming consumed by ideas and by certain sites on the Internet...have played roles in what has occurred in the United States since at least Columbine.

Where did you find out about his search history?

Accusing me of defending that person is a deplorable personal attack on my character.

My trying to establish facts has nothing to do with defending anyone.

I think Ezra has Taco Bell on his mind more than defending a mass murderer.

It seems the problem for Bill is that I have establishing facts on my mind which he seems to consider some kind of threat so he resorts to making personal accusations and attacks.

I heard about that on CNN. He sounds like a very evil individual.

That is what CNN is reporting
Classmates say Dayton gunman had a 'hit list' in high school
Quote:
As a high school student, the gunman in the Dayton, Ohio, massacre had a "hit list" of classmates he wanted to kill or hurt, according to four former students who said they were told by school officials they were on the list.

Spencer Brickler said a counselor at Bellbrook High School told him that he and his sister were on Connor Betts' hit list. Brickler said he was riding on a school bus when he saw Betts getting escorted off by officers who were investigating the threats.
"He was kind of dark and depressive in high school," said Brickler, who recalled the incident occurring about nine years ago when he was a freshman. He said he had no idea what prompted Betts, then a sophomore, to put him or his sister on the list.

Another former classmate, who asked not to be identified out of concerns for his privacy, also recalled being summoned to a school administrator's office and being told he was "number one" on the list of students Betts wanted to kill.
He said the list was separated into two columns: a "kill list" for boys and a "rape list" for girls.
A third person, who also asked not to be named for privacy reasons, told CNN that Betts sent messages about the list to one of his classmates, who told her mother. Her mother then notified the police, who came to the school and interviewed people on the list individually in the school's office.
"Personally, it freaked me out," said the classmate who was told she was on the list. "I started having panic attacks in the school building."
A fourth person, who also asked not to be named for privacy reasons, said, "All I know is there was a list of violent actions and a list of names including mine."
She said some of the names were female students who, like her, turned him down for dates. She said Betts often simulated shooting other students and threatened to kill himself and others on several occasions.
"He loved to look at you and pretend to shoot with guns, guns with his hands," she said.
Another former classmate, who was not on the list, said that he met Betts through a "friend of a friend." He said whenever they hung out, Betts would talk about violence and use harsh language about women, like calling them "sluts."
Betts' former classmates told CNN that they recalled Betts being removed from the school for at least a year, but that he later returned to Bellbrook High.

Both shooters were bullied in high school. Betts’s politics were very left. The El Paso shooter left a manifesto about why he did what he did, right now there is no public evidence the Dayton shooter did it for political reasons. The hit and rape list some of whom turned down dates and the targeting of a bar district are suggestive of an Incel type motive not a political one. However there is no public evidence at this he frequented Incel sites, praised Incel, used Incel jargon, or considered Elliot Rogers a hero etc.

I mean....kids often do this sort of thing. And, the vast majority of the time, they don't really mean it. I've never done this myself, despite being bullied. But I do understand the mindset.

But in light of what's happening nowadays, if I were a kid who was angry about being bullied, I wouldn't broadcast a "hit list" to my schoolmates.

Though, in a way, this sort of "broadcasting" might provide an impetus for the school to do something about it---not by punishing the kid---but by providing therapeutic intervention.

I don't believe in "zero tolerance" except in extreme cases. "Zero tolerance" alienates at-risk kids, and provides them with much more ammunition to commit the acts they commit.

Careful with being analytical, you might get accused of defending cold blooded mass murderers.
