May's capitulation treaty wasn't getting us out.

It wasn't getting us out on the terms you prefer, but we would have no longer been members of the European Union, that is a fact.

some (the Independent Group lot in particular) will certainly be gone. But with an election looming nearer and nearer and the leader of your opponents party gets himself tangled up to such a degree I can see why they want to make the most of it. There is going to be a GE anyway, we all know that, it's whether it happens pre Oct 31st or post Oct 31st that is to be decided.

The Custom's Union is along with the Single Market the main body of the EU. It kept us in the Custom's Union forever, didn't deal with freedom of movement or the ECHR. So no, it was staying in the EU without the membership. Really not difficult to understand. To make out the people who were the biggest supporters of Brexit were voting against it cause they didn't want to leave the EU is absurd.

You can keep twisting and turning all you like, but May's Withdrawal Agreement left us, after the transition period, as no longer being member of the European Union. That is a fact that cannot be denied.

The challenge is then to fix the backstop with alternative arrangements, which the arch leavers say can be done very simply.

Johnson can just submit a One Line Bill which changes the 2/3 needed to get the GE into just a majority needed. But would he even get those numbers? and it would also show him up as being utterly desperate for a GE and not being able to point the finger elsewhere but when has that ever bothered him! )

a One Line Bill is amendable btw, which then can make it a dangerous option for him

As i thought, you don't understand the issue at all or are intentionally trolling. The deal keeps us tied to the EU forever even without the phony backstop. Anyone who wants us tied to the EU forever is not an 'arch leaver'. An arch leaver wants to leave the EU and all its institutions and rules and wants a free trade deal with them or the US. I haven't got the time for any more of your games though.

 She campaigned and voted to stay in the EU. She never mentioned leaving without a deal in EU negotiations. She brought back a horrific deal that kept us tied to the EU forever. What the hell are you talking about?? Is this the tripe CNN has been telling you?

You do this everytime you paint yourself into a corner on here. People are allowed different opinions, people are allowed to disagree with each other, we are all very different with different likes and dislikes, and that is all absolutely fine, life's rich tapestry and all that. Just because someone holds a different opinion to you means you tell then they are wrong, dont understand it as well as you and then you try and make out like their opinion should not even count as you have announced it as a 'game'.

We are all different, it's part of what makes life great.

Yep. All they have done is stick to the same position they did before the referendum happened, the same position they have had all along and the negotiations finished last October. They have said they are open to suggestions for something to replace the UK's suggested backstop if it resolves what we see an issue but we are still yet to suggest anything that is acceptable.

Bill intented to block no deal Brexit becomes law after being passed by House of Lords. It was passed without amendments so it does not need to go back to commons.
