Bill Taylor, who is a US diplomat who was in Ukraine when all the Trump stuff went down, testified before House committees today. He was the one who wrote the text saying he thought it was crazy that the US was withholding aid to Ukraine for domestic political gain. Here is the transcript of his testimony:

He made 5 damning points at the hearing:

Meanwhile, Trump is whining about how he is getting "lynched", which of course is the word used to describe the parties white Southerners used to hold where they would capture a black person whom they accused of a crime (but who was nearly always actually innocent) and then very publicly hang them without due process, then they would have a picnic around the body and bring their families (including their kids), and then they would burn the body and each family would get to take a piece of the body home:

This is what Trump is comparing himself to. Trump, who published an ad in the New York Times calling for the execution of the Central Park Five, and continued to call for it even after they were exonerated. After their exoneration, he used all sorts of insinuations of they must have done something to say they should have been executed anyway. This is the lyncher mentality.
I am so sick of the rampant victim playing by conservatives, when they have disproportionate power in this country, while the policies they support and the actions they take continue to make real victims everyday. It's disgusting. You guys either cry me a river or realize the world doesn't exist just to cater to your every want and need.
