Greta Thunberg shown being sexually assaulted in cartoon sticker featuring Canadian oilfield company logo
Quote:
A cartoon sticker depicting Greta Thunberg being sexually assaulted was reportedly circulating as promotional material at oilfields in Canada.
It also includes the logo of X-Site Energy Services, a Canadian oil company.
The disturbing sticker shows a man’s hands grabbing a girl’s pigtails from behind, and the name “Greta” is written on the girl’s back. The X-Site logo appears underneath the cartoon image.
While the picture was circulating among oil workers earlier this week, the physical stickers were not distributed, Huffington Post Canada reported. Instead, they had apparently been pitched as hardhat decorations.

An X-Site spokesperson told HuffPost Canada that X-Site had nothing to do with the printing or distribution of the stickers.
Michelle Narang first posted the image on Facebook and told HuffPost Canada that “It’s sad to me [the sticker] went through a supply chain of people, who thought about it, printed it and distributed it. It blows my mind anyone would think it’s funny.”
Canadian police investigated whether the sticker should be considered child pornography, but decided it didn’t “meet the criteria for it to constitute a criminal offence.”
