It was almost out of a horror movie.
On June 19, the couple found the eight-legged unwelcomed guest, a massive spider, which appeared to be bigger than the size of a human hand, crawling on the back patio door of their San Antonio home.
Teouna Thomas said "I was terrified! My husband actually saw it before me because my back was turned to the patio door." She was tasked with finding a container to hold it while her husband went outside to capture it. "I've never been so nervous looking for a piece of Tupperware," Thomas said, adding that her husband was the "real hero."

They have a saying that things are always bigger in Texas. I remember 50 years ago when I was in military training, I was tasked in cleaning out a building. I came across a spider that was almost the same size. But it was a tarantula.
