Impressive.. $70B/year in business and I’ve never even heard of the guy before. Must have been able to keep a lower profile than El Chapo and others at that level of the industry.
I saw another article from a local reporter that indicated that there are known criminals in Canada (we are a haven for global criminals and their money) that police deem too dangerous to investigate or apprehend. Sooo, cops are scared of bad guys so bad guys can do whatever they want until cops from Another country bust them. Ok, got it. Stupid. But whatever, is what it is and Australian & Dutch cops picked this guy up.

Kind of a big deal when a global drug lord gets arrested. Also rather fascinating he was able to pull off the crimes he has at such a large scale.
Won’t stop the drug trade, though. The end of the article is correct: He will be replaced.
