As with native Americans and sasquatch, Australian aboriginals also have a long tradition of sharing the land with Yowies.

We have a dedicated band of Yowie trackers down under.

Wrong.  The man has a blurry, distorted image he claims to be evidence of an Australian "Bigfoot".

Until someone at least produces an organic substance with DNA that does not match any known species, there is no evidence of "Bigfoot".

I have a suspicion that a case of Victorian Bitter was somehow involved.

Then someone must be desperate for money.

If the only ad campaign that will attract tourists to Oklahoma involves alleged sightings of non-existent creatures, then someone's imagination is stuck in Roswell.

There’s not that much to see or do in OK.The eastern part has some nice lakes and part of the Ozark mountain range.
They are really loose with their medical weed, you can purchase eight ozs a month.Possibly contributing to Bigfoot sightings.

I'm less inclined to be pursuaded by the evidence for bigfoot compared to other paranormal phenomena. However there is a universal belief among all humans in giants and hobbits.

The lack of biological evidence is somewhat problematic but we could be dealing with very secretive anthropoid apes/humans that have maintained breeding populations in inaccessible forest areas and perhaps live in tunnels??.

There was an American program aired on Discovery Animals in 2020 which showed a heat/thermal image of a large bipedal humanoid creature walking away and then vanishing on camera. The image was shown to academics/primate zoologists who verified the walk and the size (5-9feet) of the being resembled a very unusual large ape and that the heat signature suggested it was naked rather than clothed or in an ape-costume (the night-time temperatures in the pacific mid-west make it problematic for a 8foot human to be walking around naked without dying of frostbite).

However I can never tell with Discovery channel whether the whole thing was fake?

Do you know any locals in your neck of the woods who had sightings?

Dang! Gotta go to that convention (maybe stop while on my way to Roswell NM). Awesome building, and some awesome scenery around it I can see.
