Racine, Wisconsin cemetery shooting leaves multiple victims, police say

Racine police said on social media that numerous shots were fired about 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Graceland Cemetery in Racine, south of Milwaukee.

WISN reports it happened during the funeral of Da'shontay L. King Sr. His family said he was shot and killed by a Racine police officer in March during an attempted traffic stop.

Ascension All Saints Hospital, which is next to the cemetery, is treating an undisclosed number of victims from the shooting.

A hospital official says the facility is on lockdown "out of an abundance of caution" following the shooting.

I am tempted to start a thread asking why there are so many psychos in this country coming out with all mass murder going on. Are we facing a rapid decline in societal mental health? I'd say we should promote free mental healthcare as a solution, but I'd get accused of being a socialist. Right Wingers, they want the mass shootings to stop but they don't want gun control nor free mental healthcare. Hypocrites.

Like the "war on drugs", right wingers want the users to be thrown in jail for having an ounce of weed but the suppliers are growing rich and nothing seems to be done about them.

Same with racism or gender, sexuality or COVID or any number of other issues. Right wingers think if you treat the symptoms by bashing the victims and not address the cause then the problem will magically go away like if you were living in Marjorie Greene Taylor's alternate fantasy realm.
