What if Rosenbaum or Huber had been your son? would you say that then.

Would depend on if I could have seen into the future and known he'd not only be acquitted, but heralded, wouldn't it?

To clarify: cyber is asking if I would have had the same musing I wrote in the quotes if it had been my son that Rittenhouse killed.

My point is that 3 people were shot by a teen (who broke a curfew) with a loaded weapon resulting in two deaths. Do you seriously think the authorities would behave like constable bloggs "business as usual" "Nothin to see here folks"

Planned in such a way (charges, judge, prosecutor) to guarantee an acquittal and make Rittenhouse appear as a hero.

That is my suspicion, as well. Too bad there is no proof.

So, you're saying that because you don't like an outcome, it must have been "planned"\"staged" to give a result you don't agree with - Sounds like you have a lot in common with your former president (re: 2020 election)...

No, I am saying that I suspect the trial was staged, and that there is no proof to support my suspicions. Nothing more.

What about the facts?
Do they count in the decision of not guilty?

I wonder how many pieces of silver changed hands.

Rittenhouse would have been very appreciative of Trump's support, and why wouldn't he?

I doubt that Uncle Joe is going to be on Kyle's Xmas card list after what he said.
I hear *speculation* that Rittenhouse might even sue Biden for character assassination.

I'd be surprised if it does happen, though. 8)

I see the Oz contingent is fully present.

A thread lock may be imminent.

Trump has found himself a "symbol" for his brand of idiocy.

Rittenhouse should have been found guilty of SOMETHING....Only on a technicality was he not convicted of the possession of a deadly weapon by a minor.

I'm not sure that is the case.
Could you elaborate on what the charge/s should have been?

That isn't really what they are saying. I believe they are suggesting it was known by "TPTB" that the case was a dud, but conducted anyway, for the purpose of increasing support for Rittenhouse and giving him an opportunity to look like a hero.

Personally, I'm not cynical enough to believe that. Trials involve a lot of people, and cost a lot of taxpayer money. It is possible that someone could have intentionally assigned prosecutors that would overreach and make errors, but I still don't feel it's likely. More likely the prosecutors desperately wanted to deliver for the families of the victims, perhaps be heroes themselves, and just didn't have the acumen.
