Without getting into the debate over what she is saying, it does seem curious why she would speak things that are either "unpopular" or politically risky.

The U.S. backed bio labs do exist, it appears. Here's Gabbard's rebuttal. It contains quite a bit of solid evidence from the U.S. State Department:

^ While I didn't doubt the possibility of it being true, this sort of work the US Government usually outsources through private subcontractors that run foreign labs, in such a way that is reasonably deniable in any serious international probe, leaving only claims that will die as unfavorable press.

There seems to be enough admission of the labs existence from official sources. But yeah, our media will not show that to most Americans. That's how propaganda works.

Gabbard has not claimed they are manufacturing bio weapons, just to be clear, just that they are studying pathogens. Securing them seems to be a pretty sensible thing to day.

Even the state department testified there were US backed labs in Ukraine, so ya'll want a crazy dictator which is currently attacking Ukraine to gain access to these deadly pathogens? Geebus, are ya'll kidding me.

What is the moral thing to do?

The moral thing to do would be to destroy the pathogens before can either be seized or unleased on the world by accident of war. That's all Gabbard is saying.

It's more than that the data and people need to be protected. MT and AK should be held accountable their rhetoric.

Tell me again about the 81 million voters and how Biden immediately froze the weapons allotted for Ukraine after meeting with Putin.

Yes, they are. But Romney's comments were absurd. Gabbard didn't say anything wrong.

Of course I did. And I also know that Gabbard has a reputation of being a gadfly interested in promoting herself at the expense of her party and it's political ideals.

Apparently, the "biolabs" are not actually producing biological weapons----but are actually "securing old Soviet weapons left behind" after the collapse of the Soviet Union.

The notion that these "labs" are producing biological weapons is said to be a "conspiracy theory." Providing a justification for Putin invading Ukraine.
