I knew Hungary is not a real democracy any more, after the ruling party took all the major media and shut down the rest.
I knew they had ugly pro-Putin sentiments.
They refused to allow military transit through their territory and bragged about this decision when Yavoriv just next to Polish border was bombed.
They are behaving like a spoiled child, blocking the next round of sanctions on Russia "because their economy would suffer and what will EU offer in exchange?"
But this takes it to another level:

Under a thin veil, they demand a part of Croatian territory 8O
Luckily, they don't have power to take it.

Hungary (Orban) seems to have been on a steady path of reduced democratic freedoms since at least 2010.

Orban and Putin seem like kindred spirits.

Very much.
There's gossip Orban was ready to take Transcarpathia from Ukraine if Russian original plan succeeded.
From a country also with historical territories in Ukraine - that's unthinkable.

If Orban makes such a move, then Hungary's NATO membership should be revoked.
