The Last Temptation of Christ, Falwell had said something to the extent of: If Christ could be tempted, then his death would have meant nothing. The whole point, of course was, Christ COULD be tempted due to his human nature, but didn't succumb to it, yet paid the price for mankind's sins anyhow.
