So the big bad threat actually only consists of small cult.

+ any of the faux news viewers that have been radicalized and could turn violent. Hard to say exactly how many cross that threshold until they pop off and start shooting/delivering pipe bombs etc.

So now the number of "Magas" has been reduced to shooters and bombers.

Do you need us to re-hash every possible action and behaviour of a republican political extremist to understand which people are labeled magas? Surely after years of this news cycle you’re as familiar as the rest of us are.

There's always been a lot of inconsistency regarding who/what a "Maga" is and how many of them they are.

hmmm but doesn't choosing to vote Trump in 2024 mean buying into the MAGA rhetoric ?
https://poll.qu.edu/poll-release?releaseid=3825

That's an impressive number of MAGAs
Let's go back in history shall we...

2015 - Trump openly declares he's a bigot with lots of slogans about walls to stop mexicans and no actual policies
June 2016 - Trump overwhelmingly wins republican primaries
June - Nov 2016 - Trump openly racist, bigoted, mysoginistic and small minded
Nov 2016 - 63 million vote for Trump
Nov 2016 - Nov 2020 - Trump overseas one of the most corrupt and incompetent presidencies in the history of the USA
Nov 2020 - 75 million Americans vote for Trump, another 13 million throw their support for the MAGA message

Trump may have lost the 2020 election but his support for his MAGA messages only seem to be growing. To try and claim that the 75 million who voted for him don't buy into his MAGA message is like saying Charles Manson's followers who murdered for him aren't actually killers

^Biden was careful with his words and differentiated between regular conservative republicans and maga extremists. He was referring to the nutjob variety of trump cultists. The ones trying to overthrow democracy. The ones willing to commit political violence. Not people who vote for republican tax/education/social etc policies.

The regular conservative republicans know who they are voting for and the values he brings. It;'s now been 7 years since he started his delusional rants. They can't claim ignorance anymore.

That’s true. They know who he is and what he’s capable of - and they’d be at fault for voting for it again.

But fact remains some people vote party only, regardless of candidate. And many others vote for whoever is best for their wallet, regardless of their blah blah blah.

Thank you for agreeing with me that Biden was calling 75 million Americans an enemy of the state.

The issue seems to be that you haven't listened to & comprehended the words of Biden's speech. Try that first.

You're the one who's demonstrated a predilection for not understanding what's being said, based on the number of times other members have pointed out that you don't get what's being said. What you're doing here is projecting your own problem onto someone else.

Which is resistance to so called progressivism. There's nothing new about it.

Depends on the direction I guess. Adolph also thought he was progressive. That didn't really work out did it.

That doesn't follow what I said.

It's rather hilarious that Biden, who is responsible for so much damage to this country during his political career, is crapping on about Trump being a threat to our nonexistent democracy.

Our democracy was destroyed a very long time ago once corporate entities took over our government.
