WP members in Philippines (I know at least two) - are you ok? Do you need anything?

We are all fine in Cavite province, although it has been raining heavily for most of the day -- visibility is down to about 200-300 meters -- and rain is likely to continue into next week.  Thanks for asking!

The north and east seem to be getting the worst of it.

That's a relief :)

I checked where Cavite province is and it looks like the worst is expected tomorrow night there...

I'm glad you're okay. Sirens were going off in my mind before I opened this thread. I was thinking in my mind, "I hope Fnord is okay."

Yeah, we are okay.  Thanks for the concern.  36+ hours of wind and rain, and only a few downed branches and a power blackout to show for it.

The southern and eastern lowlands have it much worse.  Those who made it to safety have lost nearly everything.  We are doing what we can, but there is only so much we can do.
