A Pentagon spokesman just gave a news conference, and ...basically told us all nothing.

But a second flying thing has been shot down by an F22 fighter after entering US airspace in Alaska. It fell on snow on land (or did it fall on ice covered water?- they implied different things) somewhere in or near Alaska. And they are checking out the debris field right now. It was not nearly as big as the 200 foot balloon, but an "object" about "the size of a small car" that was unmanned. It was flying lower than the balloon's 60 thousand plus height at only 40 thousand feet so it could have been a hazard to civilian aircraft.

It was "moving in a northeasterly direction" which is where the downed balloon came from when it entered Alaska before it changed direction and went southeast towards the lower 48 United States. So it coulda come from China, or from North Korea, or from the Vladivostok area of the Russian Republic. But presumably its a second helping of espionage from China.

Being only car sized it probably wasnt a balloon. So it might have been a drone.

Or...maybe the unidentified flying object was....

an Unidentified... Flying.... Object!! !! !

And came from farther away than ...even China....gasp!

^ The "illegal aliens" people keep talking about?

I read they shot it over territorial waters - so it can be retrieved and examined, though I doubt the results will be published any soon.

Yeah...I forgot that I did hear them say ice covered water at one point, before they later said it landed "on snow" (sounding like its on land).

I have no problem imagining snow on ice covered water.

The point being inconsistent reporting?

The White House announced that President Joe Biden ordered the military to down what it described as a “high-altitude object” hovering over Alaska. National Security Council coordinator for strategic communications John Kirby said the high-altitude object was flying at an altitude of 40,000 feet and “posed a reasonable threat to the safety of civilian flight.” #CNN #News

Apologies for using a left-wing media source. <cheeky>

"It was over water space", it says in the vid.

We all already know it was over water. Snow covered ice covered water. No one is debating that.

Apparently, it was downed off of the north coast of Alaska in the Arctic Ocean.

I never thought that I would live to see the day that we would live the video game Time Pilot. The blimp is the first stage boss and is shot by an advanced jet fighter (the player’s aircraft). Maybe we should make it more fair and use another blimp (or a biplane) to shoot them down like a WWI air fight.
