The latest moronic TikTok challenge could cost participants their life if it spreads to the United States.

1. Yep.

2. Still stupid in other countries.

3. Makes me wonder if China planned this or if it’s just a happy coincidence that TikTok is creating so many morons willing to remove themselves from the gene pool. Could almost be a secret Chinese military operation designed to weaken the enemy from within.. probably not; most likely people are just stupid. But still.

Maybe it’s some kind of counter operation to distract Chinese military with ? Give them US marines TikTok’s to try to analyze and figure out, then carry out the real mission while the enemy is geeking out on their phones.. genius!

Most people in cities keep their doors locked, or we do anyway. Maybe in the country they could just walk in, but they'll definitely get some push back.

If it is done in Kansas, someone might get a fast track to an Darwin Award. Both the Castle Doctrine and Stand My Ground laws could apply in the case to protect the home owners. There are a lot of gun collectors in Kansas. One of my friends there has a pair of .50 caliber pistols for farm house defense. He has had to use them only once. The gas thief did not come back after the warning shot.

Not everywhere, not all the time.

Many people have doors unlocked during the day but almost everyone has them locked at night.

A generation or two ago and doors were almost never locked. My old neighbour almost never locked his 24/7.

More people lock them now in part due to crime and population density, but also just due to anxiety of not knowing people for generations because there are so many newcomers from all over the world.

And then there are places in very cold climates where people might not lock their doors or cars almost ever as they leave them open just in case someone needs to get away from a bear or out of the lethal cold asap to avoid almost certain death.

But yeah, countryside & small towns probably have more unlocked doors than major cities.

If the home owner has a large aggressive dog it could also go bad.
I wouldn’t shoot a bunch of stupid teens that pulled that stunt, but I would beat them severely with a broom or switch and it would serve them right.
