Since I’m a center-left, liberal Democrat living in Houston, Texas, for me the silver lining is—

Well, I’d rather have a right-winger people look at a little more carefully and with a jaundiced eye, than a fully empowered, clean slate right-winger. And if Paxton views himself as fully empowered, a lot of other people won’t!

PS And is Paxton still going to be doing favors for his buddy Nate Paul ? ! ?

More and more, the right's mask of family values and Christian morality is slipping. I just hope people will vote accordingly when they see what's really underneath.

Texas politics is an even bigger s**tshow than national politics.
