Saw the new tales of the Underworld - cool
Andor is hard work. I am not sure I can watch episodes 4, 5 and 6.

I've heard Andor is good, it's a shame that so much of the rest of the recent Star Wars stuff has been crap or narrowly targeted at people that obsess over lore.

I rather liked Obi Wan Kenobi, The Mandalorian, and Boba Fett.

I didn't personally, the people I've met that liked them seem far more interested in the lore aspect and Star Wars in general than I am. I tried watching the Mandalorian and it just wasn't at all interesting to me.

Each of these were a little disappointing in that they rarely captured the spirit of the earliest instalments (prequels, OG movies and Clone wars). But I managed to sit through all of them. I think when you hire multiple writers, directors and producers (Disney thinks throwing money means trying a variety of stories) you don't get a coherent story.

the thing that sucks is so many side missions as filler, a lot of time spent on Disney kids level stuff for the purpose of merchandise and sales. I

Andor had such a big budget compared to other projects, it also has extremely good writing. But, it doesn't feel like Star wars, rather feels like I'm watching some type of sci fi spy thriller that happens to have storm troopers. It's also really slow in S2 which has made it boring. My wife watched S1 some years ago and while it wasn't her cup of tea, she sat through it. S2 she refused to watch after episode 1 as it felt we watching a Woody Allen drama.

It's artsy...but it ain't Star wars.

I thought it fit well with Rogue One, which it's a prequel of.

It might come together towards the end to tie in with Rogue one. But at the moment it literally sends me to sleep.

Admittedly, the show isn't for everyone. Especially as lightsaber wielding Jedi and Sith are what typifies the Star Wars saga; a thing noticeably absent.

Good actors though, can't go wrong with Stellan Skarsgård, enjoyed him in Marvel, but it's not his fault the writer's lack imagination.
