AN autistic online comedian has been sacked from his job at the Foster's Yatala (Qld Australia) brewery for making YouTube (ewechube) videos that offended his employers.

This is the link to the article. Also in the article there is a link to the ewechube site of him.

So he bit the hands that feed him, and they bit back. BFHD!

I agree. According to the article, in his videos he was putting Foster's in a bad light and he made some of the videos at work. He deserved to be fired. His autism had nothing to do with it; NTs get fired for things they do online too.

I heard about this this morning, but it's only now that I saw the details.

spending time on youtube at work is a no-no.

one should not mock their employers in a way that makes them easy to catch.

I was quite appalled with a lot of the comments made by NT's. No wonder it is so hard to fit into society.

What comments made by NTs? The comments to the article seemed to be spot on. I know we spectrumites can be naive about how others will perceive our actions, but I can't quite believe this guy is so specatcularly naive as to think he wouldn't get into trouble for this.

What got me was the guy in the article who said "He's got a disability. He has no way to defend himself." Patronising much?

"He's got a disability. He has no way to defend himself," Mr Isidro said

I laughed. He seems perfectly capable of defending himself. *sigh* this is all so messed up. You should never make bad jokes about your place of employment! even I know that, and I only work for my parents!

I hope he isn't one of those autistics who used their disability as an excuse to not stop. They did tell him to stop but he didn't so he got what was coming.
