Anyone never been on a date over 16 years old?

I am 17 almost 18 and I have NEVER been on a date.

I was just wondering if I was the only person having this problem?

I went on my first date at the age of 18 during my senior year of high school. It was an arranged date by a friend of mine. I dated the girl for almost 7 years, then we got married. We have now been married over 20 years and have two sons. Our youngest son, like me, has Asperger's.

I found the link for this thread off of the main page not realizing it was the adolescent forum. I am 45 years old---a bit past adolescence .

actually it doesnt mean anything wether or not you have never dated, dating is overrated.

20 here never literally dated and i would not like to.

17 never dated had 2 girlfriends though well still have one.

It isn't a problem. Most NTs that date young are in it for sex or popularity. Aspies, i have found, are wanting a long term relationship with someone and are looking for love but don't know what it feels like or looks like.
PS 17 going on 18 and haven't dated yet. Want to find true love not false love.

I'm an 18-year-old guy in college and I have never dated anyone, nor do I have any concern over whether or not I'm in a relationship.

Hey I'm 19 years old. Ive watched all my friends have relationships -Uni life is full of them. Never really had any contact with girls -other than friendships. Strangely I have fairly high self esteem, and I am hopelessly honest about my situation. If someone asks me something I have to tell them the truth.

Truth drinking games are always eventfull- I never have done anything that most people do.

I'm in the exact same position.

I am 18 years old, and I have never had a boyfriend, never been on a date, and I have certainly never kissed anyone. It's kind of lonely...

Though part of it is my fault. I am quite selective.

Im almost 19 and have never been on a date with a girl. I have had offers from girls that i wasnt attracted to and girls have been willing to hangout with me but i guess they never followed through on it. I didnt really care about dating in high school but now i really care. Maybe ill see some success soon, at least i hope i do!

Well, as a literal thinker, I would say technically I qualify. I did go on a date when I was just 13, but have not had one since, and I am currently 17.

I would probably be the male version of ImaginaryTime. I'm not horrifically selective, but it does always seem like the good ones are always taken, except for my female best friend, but we determined on a previous thread that that was out of the question.
