Have you ever had a pet?
Nothing fancy - I don't know if you're a cat person or a dog person, or even a hamster or guinea pig - a little furry creature can change a lot in a person's life.
My Aspie daughter convinced me to buy a hamster and geez, how cute he is! And my husband got surprisingly attached to our fish once I started the tank. Pets are more important than I expected.

I have a cat.

Does the cat go on your chest and try to comfort you.

I had two cats who did that.

One of my two cats has an extremely loud purr, that always brings a smile to my face.

Thank heavens for pets.

He tends to grab my leg and bite it if I haven’t fed him yet.

So, you don't really like your cat?

That's okay if you don't like someone or something. Allowing yourself to feel it gets you closer to understanding your own needs and adressing them in a constructive way.

I once had a cat named Floyd. Whenever music was playing, I would try to get him to dance with me. He didn't like that one bit! :)

Sometimes my cat will jump up on the bed or couch but other times, he’ll meow until I pick him up. He also knows knocking over my CDs and books will get my attention.

He’ll keep me company when I am home alone but I still feel sad I don’t have a girlfriend or wife. The other side of my bed is always empty and I still wonder if it will ever have someone in it. I am turning 33 this year and not getting any younger but I can’t even get a coffee date.

When I had absolutely no human friends in the world, my best friend was a cat named Zum Zum.

He has funny sounding meows (One sounds like “Hehwo?” like he’s trying to say “Hello?”), his face looks like William Taft, and he is a furry Himalayan Persian.

How do Polish cats meow?
