So right now I'm in a tight pickle. In the house by myself, my knee popped last night trying to workout doing nothing more than body squats, and when I woke up this morning my neck strained and it feels almost impossible to get out of bed

So here I am feeling like a paralyzed cripple, starving, in massive knee pain, and struggling to get out of bed

And I still feel sick from gluten poisoning a few days ago

Today is one of those days....

Phone somebody to come over and take care of you. Maybe a little thin soup. Heating pads or ice for injured areas. Etc.

I've been bedridden for several weeks after nasty injury, had to lay flat on my back, not allowed to even sit.

While your are recovering from injuries you can do breathing exercises, like Wim Hof method breathing, it saved me from depression when I was bedridden this stuff is very powerful, DON'T FREAKING OVERDO IT!

If you still feel sick you are better off fasting. It is muuuuuuuch better to eat nothing at all for a while than eating a little. Give your digestive system a break and let your body break down some damaged tissues to clear room for renovation.

And if possible make sure to open your window and spend some time in sunlight. Even reflected light on overcast day would work, but it doesn't work through glass.

Get well and let your injuries heal, don't be your own worst enemy. Take care!

I'm sorry to hear of your injuries. Do what the previous two posters have recommended, rest well and be patient. Maybe your body wanted you to take a bit of a break.

Do you still have the wheelchair? A cane? Would you be able to order food from Uber Eats?

Feel better soon. I'm glad you're resting from last week's head injury.

Salad. See if you can get someone to help. Look after yourself. Maybe your new GF can visit to check on you now and then? I am sure she would not mind?

When she gets done with work, have her drop off a care package.

We live kind of far from each other. Remember we're engaged and not married. In Islamic society only after the wedding are couples allowed to even touch each other and live with each other unsupervised

But she knows your parents right? Couldn’t she send for them to check up on you? I might not be of the same culture or religion but wouldn’t someone who cares for their future spouse be an exception especially if it’s a life or death situation? Like I said not the same culture or religion but always interested in learning new things.
