I was having fun in this bigger town...

But I got sick, Corona got me despite my vaccinated status...yuck, not fun

Ehhh, I just feel like I have a bad cold, my apartment manager told me to stay here for 14 days... Well I have my games, streaming app, my kitty, and since I haven't fully unpacked I'll work on that.

Just think of it as a bad cold. If you've been vaccinated then it shouldn't be more than just like a bad cold. Just rest up and I hope you feel better soon.

Anyway I think this nurse I talked to is nuts... I had both covid moderna shots, but I got mild symptoms and tested positive, and it turned out to be like a cold and I'm recovering already after 4 days... It's the weekend so I called a nurse line... I just asked that if I fully recover before two weeks (now I have a stuffy nose and mild sore throat) if I still have to isolate for two weeks... She asked if I had diabetes, I said mild type II I take metformin for and it's only slightly above A1c 7, anyway she's like "covid with any diabetes is life threatening, call 911!" Ummm I think 911 would laugh at "I have a mild sore throat and stuffy nose, the nurse said I could die"

I left a message with my docs office, she don't know what that nurse was thinking either, but she says I still have to isolate 14 days cause I live now in an elderly/disabled place and I wanna keep vulnerable people safe.

Oh well... Plenty of time to stream shows, play my games, finally unpack... But be bored lol!! !

You should be relatively safe yourself but you still can infect others - so, I think, the doc gives you the right advice.

Now I'm hating moving here...

Missed my grocery delivery because nobody would let Amazon in the building to drop it off at my door... I don't have many groceries left... Plus not all of them are coming because I was even yelling at customer service because they claimed they couldn't ship because my EBT card couldn't be charged... But the money is gone... And they kept arguing with me... That's like $100 in food stamps poof gone...

I post on FB for people to please talk to me, all I got was a picture of a cat...

I mean the last town I had more freedom in ironically because guess what, now I'm barred from leaving this apartment at all!! ! For two weeks...

Sorry you are struggling, but it seems the worst symptoms are mental ones, cabin fever, etc. You'll be ok. Call Amazon's customer service, in a patient tone of voice explain what happened to you and why you need home delivery, as well as EBT recharge or just send you the order again and agree they can leave it at entry door. If you are courteous, usually customer service will work to help resolve a problem.
