Hi Everyone,

After a particularly bad relationship break up over the festive period, I am going into self destruct mode.

I am in touch with an ex boyfriend from years ago (abusive relationship). I have been suffering from an acute stress reaction and cannot control my emotions or by behaviour. I took an overdose during Christmas and I am worried about myself but not getting help from GP. I got some diazepam but that doesn't help me fix my life.

I was made homeless at Christmas and hate where I live now.

I am sleeping up to 22 hours at a time and I know I cannot continue like this.

What help would you like from your GP?

Can you ask for a mental health plan from your GP?
At least then you will have a plan.
And you can get access to counselling and maybe other services through that.

Oh noo.

One positive thing. If you hit rock bottom you can only head upwards from there, so there is hope.

You have a future and a hope...

there are usually lifelines all around us in one form or another, please reach out to others to get the help you need, there are many ways to get those first steps moving to better things, don't give up looking for something that will work for you. You don't have to do it alone.
