I can feel my heart pounding, yet my blood pressure is only 108/60, I'm 6'2" tall.

I'm dizzy and nauseous, and my chest feels like a million pounds.

Did you go to the hospital?

Effects of anxiety. I've been to a cardiologist last time I was like this, they were concerned about the possibility that I had a heart attack, and urged me to go to a hospital. I chose to do an outpatient lab test (troponin), which came back negative. I actually fainted in the lab twice.

I was not able to get a mental health specialist appointment to help me through the anxiety crisis. Some did not return my calls while others put me on waiting lists and have not been heard from since. I had to suffer for weeks until it stopped.

That sounds so rough. I also experience it a lot. It's difficult to understand if its physical or psychological sometimes.

Sounds like you could benefit from a prescription of beta blockers. They won’t get rid of the anxiety but they will help with managing the worst physical symptoms. Ask your doctor about propranolol (don’t worry, it’s a generic).

^ Is that a forum plug-in? I'm not sure if alphas are exactly what I'm looking for.

I'll see if primary care is willing to do that. They could just say that I'd need to see a specialist to prescribe...

If anything, that blood pressure is slightly on the "low" side.

Indeed....anxiety does a lot of things. I had anxiety over the weekend, which caused an exacerbation of my cough, making my wife wonder if I had Whooping Cough.

For a person of my size that's low enough to flop under the table as I'm sitting.

On the face of it, that sounds like hypotension. Check your pulse rate too.
A quick check with Dr. Google finds: https://mymedicalscore.com/blood-pressure/108-60/
Or the UK's NHS version: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/low-blood ... potension/

It's not that low for me usually.

I really think you should get it checked professionally though.
There may be some underlying complications.

Beta blockers lower pressure by reducing heart activity. Mine is already very low.

I had similar symptoms a few years back.I constantly felt my heart pounding.I also have low blood pressure.
It was anxiety, going back on antidepressants relieved it.
Hope you get relief. It’s an awful feeling.
