Especially Pootin and Kim Jung-Un, the nuclear nutters.

That's a solid plan, but you might get sore midway through. :?

Glad there are people that support the use of nuclear bombs and global warming. Definitely, that's the way to go.

It's ironic how people who are truly living rotten lives---don't often think about how rotten their lives are. They usually don't have the time for such thoughts.

Whereas there are people like me, who are not really leading rotten lives----yet who, nevertheless, believe that their lives are rotten, and have an attitude based on that impression.

The key to living life----is to have perspective. I'm fortunate I'm not in the streets when it's 32 degrees Fahrenheit or below, with a biting wind and sleet in my face. I'm glad I have a roof over my head----even if my wife nags me all the time!

My mate is old enough to know better, but he always says that Americans deserved 9/11 for poking their nose into other wars. His exact wordings. That's definitely a wicked thing to say, even if you dislike a specific country. Literally thousands of people got killed that day when the Twin Towers fell, and there was the crashes at the Pentagon and that empty field.

I feel we should poke our noses in Afghanistan right now. Our withdrawal has caused a disaster. Denying women education is criminal.

That doesn't really help because 9/11 just encournaged America to do more nasalpoken.

The days of isolationationist America are over. They're still struggling to find a new identity after the end of the cold war so they still have a cold war attitude towards intervention.

Reocupation would only be a temporary solution.

19 years and the US couldn't find a way to fill the power-vacuum and create and Afghanistan that functions independantly without the Taliban. If America stayed there for another 19 years they still couldn't do it.

Let's think of cool places we could go...

If I could, I would find a cave. I'd have a very warm coat, a way to hunt/gather and a way to make a fire. Also, I'd have to have books. If I couldn't do that, I would like to undergo conditioning to be able to live in Iceland.

Iceland is not really a hard place to live, most of the time.

Temperatures there are very similar to, say, New England. Almost always above zero Fahrenheit even on the coldest days. Many times in the winter, the temperature is right about freezing, or above.

The cold weather does much longer than in New England, though.

My daughter and I are saving to see Scotland and Iceland. I think I should have enough money to go in about 5 more years, if I'm still kicking. I can't wait.
