can't think straight

often make cognitive errors

find it hard to do things even things i used to be able to do

paranoid of dementia, amnesia

apathetic as s**t

Yep, my brain fog was absolutely off the charts for at least a year after I caught Covid. I kept forgetting words (moreso than usual), kept forgetting how to spell common words, would edit messages constantly, couldn't think straight about ANYTHING. I had to make sure I kept close watch of items I was handling, because I was extremely likely to leave them in strange places and never find them again. I still put fridge items away AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, and leave myself reminders for leftovers that are cooling, because I know it will still be there the next morning if I don't.

I have to watch new movies more than once now, to be able to remember any of it.

I used to never even see the word "brainfog" outside of chronic illness circles before Covid, now I see it everywhere.
It's the new normal =/
