Well I'm in no danger of committing suicide as of right now. I think I am more toxic personality than most in this forum though.

No, I'm not, but my father is or was (I never knew my biological father) Fijian Indian, which accounts for my colouring.

I don't even have a big brother who could beat you up; I did, but he was useless even when he was alive.

And I proudly pay my own way at the video games arcade! :P



We can have a game of Daytona everyone likes Daytona right, and if you don't thiers something very wrong with you :P sadly it's going the way of the dodo I think the only place you can find it is at Westfield Chermside, actually theirs plenty of old school games with cheesy stereotypes and jap rock etc their :D , where art thou game arcades of my youth , today's arcades are nothing more than glorified gaming dens and stupid rhythm games .

Dear aspie48, I think most everyone here at WP has been sad or angry, and used the Ha en as our place to release some of our sorrow or rage...if someone thought you wrote something inappropriate, I think you would have gotten a personal message or 2... Seems to me that folks here have NO problem telling each other how they feel. You have just needed to let off some steam, that's all...we understand...Sylkat

Aspie48, I really really admire you for posting that.

In loads of forums people can be really 'toxic'. This is the only place I've hung around. I came here looking for classic autism info for a friend and just sort of got sucked in. Those toxic people have nothing in common with you or this site. In other forums bitter trollers and flamers destroy civil chat, they get banned but just go elsewhere to play dumb games. You learn quickly there is an online world of vile, evil, nob-ends out there.

But on WP, people like you self-regulate and change. I really admire it. I didn't read your Aspie supremacy stuff but it really isn't surprising if some of the stuff comes out of you bitter.
Its an NTs world and many folk are hurt.
Bitterness clouds thinking.

Aspie self-analysis is impressive. Many may be 'late bloomers' but you are 'evidence-based' in argument, not faith- based, belief-based or opinion-based. People want to develop their minds and learn.
You are just like that and should be proud of yourself, not beating yourself up.

Aspie48, if you're responsible for making this site nasty for everyone, you'd best get back to work on that. My experiences on this forum haven't been nasty at all! (Well, with the possible exception of ci repeatedly insisting that we should all be ashamed of being autistic and start worshiping NTs... honestly, I don't think ci's posting slowdown had that much to do with you, no offense intended, but more to do with the reception his ideas were getting around here.) Plainly, then, you haven't been fulfilling your responsibility to be nasty... :)

thank you. i think i do go back and look at what i write. i have been diagnosed with paranoia, which is a mixed blessing. it keeps me up at night over small ridiculous things, but it also allows me to question my actions. i guess i shouldn't feel too bad for my occaisonal slip up.

The internet is full of people who feel the need to be annoying / arrogant or worse. Most of them would never even consider being sorry for that, let alone actually apologize. So that tells me you're actually one of the more decent people.

When I saw the thread title, I totally thought someone else had been the author of it. But that person is probably in the other category (the eternally self-righteous and self-centered one).
