I will never forgive you the omitted apostrophe in the title of this post. It's simply one step too far.

You appear to be doing an excellent job of getting sympathy, you could practically be an NT girl yourself. :P

if we're lucky, we have 20/20 hindsight at least. some of us are equally blind to hindsight as well as foresight, however.

I forgive you. I have no idea why I am supposed to be angry at you, but I forgive you. Its not that hard. Quit being so negative.

IMHO the OP did nothing wrong, it is just that there are more apt and less apt adaptations, is all.

lol!! This reminds me of that video someone posted about US vs Brit sayings. It was soooo funny.

Anyhow,

To Stir The Pot

Someone who loves to proliferate the tension and drama between 2 or more feuding people/groups in public to get a raise of people in hopes of starting a shitstorm of drama and uncomfortable conflict, sometimes for personal gain but oftentimes just for the thrill of confrontation.

Your comment got lost inside the code tags. I don't actually understand why you mean by ' I was doing my best atonement with the OP'. Why do you need to atone with or for the OP?

IOW tell him he was not alone, that he was among many like him in the respect of feeling bad about our respective limitations.

We have a similar saying, but more colorful. Its"keeping the s**t pot stirred."
Not that it has anything to do with OP's post, just it's interesting to think about the origins of sayings.

That's fair enough, but you said he did nothing wrong when it wasn't clear what exactly he was referring to - are you that comfortable supporting someone on blind faith?

Also, you being a male makes it a bit sensitive as OP was being rude to women, so..um..anyway, this is a logistic issue, and we are in Haven (how sneaky of you OP!) so nevermind..

Ahh.! lol! it;s so funny that you don't mind saying s**t pot but you can't say toilet, and instead have to say rest room for a room where you can't rest or bathroom for a room where there is no bath :D

We have more colorful sayings for the "bathroom",such as shitter,John, military people say "the head",the funny thing is if you have a porch nine out of ten men prefer to pee off it rather that use the indoor facilities.
