do you know, robert, i had a suspicion that you hadn't received my PM, as i was so surprised and upset by your suggestion that i'd ignored you. i think i know how it happened - i can PM you if you like, or post it here, if you'd prefer.

in which case, i must apologise for my response to your original post, and for publishing my reply to your PM, which i wouldn't have done ordinarily, as you know.

i do mean what i said in my PM, and can only re-iterate all the above again now.

again, my sincere apologies.

I do accept your suggestion, but I will just have to see how things go.

I have just received an apology from SB2 for baiting me. I won't publish it to protect SB2's privacy, but he has mentioned it in a thread somewhere, so I gather it is OK to mention it here. I have accepted it in good faith, which means I hope he means what he says but I shall hold him to his word. Over time, trust and relationships can be re-built, but it takes time.

Let me begin by welcoming you back, RobertN. I hope everything works out between you, SB2 and Sean.

Secondly, to Vivi's comment about political leanings by the moderators. If I remember correctly, I am the only (there might be one other) moderator who is on the conservative side around here. So no one needs to worry about the moderators all being right-winged. ;)

I'm new here so my two cents aren't worth very much, but IMO the mods here do a great job of allowing people to express themselves. I've removed myself from other AS forums where the mods were really bad and jumped into things way too quickly and abused their "power". I really don't see that happening here.

It wasnt an AS forum, but on one other forum Im on, there was a mass-exodus becos of one of the admins abusing his power. Hes put everything rite now thogh, and most of the members have come back.
