All-in-one days will occur on 12/3, 12/10, 12/14, and 12/17. I would say that they will also occur in the future, too.

You should mention this to your social worker. He/she might be able to help you fill out the application.

Your priority should be getting a room, so you can take a shower and clean your clothes.

Try to attend to your bowel issues; those got you thrown out of your last room.

I already told you how to get there previously. Take the BART to Balboa, then the 43 bus.

Here is a bit more detail on what kraftiekortie has said about bus route 43 from the BART station at Balboa Park. If I'm wrong, any clarification would be appreciated.

Once at the BART Station at Balboa Park (401 Geneva Avenue), go to the very top level and out the entrance onto Geneva Avenue. There appears to be a bus stop right outside.

The best route appears to be route 43, which picks up every 15 minutes or less before 4pm. Ideally be on there by 2pm. Click here to a time schedule - https://sfbaytransit.org/geneva-ave-mis ... orth/times.

The bus travels along Geneva Avenue and takes just a few minutes to arrive at the campus on Phelan Avenue. There is a North and South Entrance to the campus. I'm not sure which is preferable... The North Entrance is the next stop after the South and once off the bus you'll see a large entryway (albeit up some steps) that leads into the college. It would be ideal if a bus or other route went up Cloud Circuit but I've been unable to find one that does as of yet.

To come back from the college, go to the bus stop on the other side of the street from the North Entrance college or simply on the other side of the road from where you got off, no matter which building you go to. Catch the 43 bus again and in just a few minutes you'll be back at the BART Station. From there, just catch the train to where you want to go.

Any additional information or corrections are appreciated.

Here are a few visual identifiers for the directions above. If anyone's been to CCSF, they might want to share any information that could help Walter get around there.

Here's an overview of the main building off Science Circuit which is a small lane right outside the main building, once you head up the stairs from where the 43 bus drops you off, at the North Entrance.

Most buses, these days, have special ramps for people with mobility limitations.

You can get on and off the bus easily with these ramps.

Just the other day, the bus driver allowed this guy to get on the bus. He was a BUM....you probably are not nearly as "bad" as this guy was. He smelled up the whole bus. He had a shopping cart with newspapers and other junk. And he was mobility-challenged, too. The bus driver gave him the ramp to get on the bus with.

The key, really, is to make yourself look and smell presentable. That could probably only happen if you have the opportunity to take a shower at least 3-4 times a week, and to wash your clothes often.

...I don't have a " regular " washing place now (And  , perhaps more relevant , a regular toilet :() - I'll even point out that my outer jacket is starting to fall apart - The question of getting on/off the bus is not the pri=oblem about my mobility , really ~ It is GETTING GIGANTICALLY TIRED after only a relatively few steps , that and mly hobbled way of walking ,...it is approaching the worst of six months ago or so  .
BTW , the male HOT Team worker is apparently " away on an emergency " , it took me practically two weeks?? to be told this --- I don't know that the other people at HOT are much help at all !
And , furthermore - The replacement ATM card STILL HAS NOT COME ! There is now over 800 dollars of my SSDI for me which I can't access now !
I am even worried that a " If you don't access your account after 30 days it gets closed down " thing , which is a factor with it , could happen :( .
My desire to have a shoulder and a ride aside ~ the likelihood of the college thing continuing further looks even less likely  .
The test/register/conseling aside ~ I would HAVE to continue further WITH THE ACTUAL COLLEGE APPLICATION AND THE FINANCIAL AID APPLICATION ?
Where can I get that  ?

There have been several people trying to help you, doing their best, because they care about you.
As for me, you don't seem to like my suggestions.

That said, remember when I was telling you about my best friend whom I lost to heart disease?
Her dream was to become a rich, world-famous artist ... and she was actually just on the verge of
graduating college and from there she was going to move to Germany and start out with
a nice, cushy job as a museum curator,
because yes, she was already that talented.

And then, her dream was shattered by heart disease.

No more being an artist.
No more moving to Europe.
No more thoughts of becoming famous.
No more being rich ...
and this, after she had grown up in a rich family.

Instead of giving up on life, she did the best she could ...
she had nearly everything she owned stolen, right down to the shoes off her feet.

Eventually, being disabled, she ended up in a HUD apartment
thanks to a social worker
(and yes, even if some here won't like it, I'll say it ... and thanks to the power of prayer).

From my friend, I learned that if you're in the hospital,
you can ask for a social worker
who can help you get into a HUD apartment.

A HUD apartment (or Section 8 housing) is different than a group home.
Maybe somebody from the HOT team could even help you with something like that?
And yes, I hear there are waiting lists.
Check it out anyways, okay?
And let them know your need is critical.

The thing is, you need a roof over your head.
(Even if it ends up being ye olde group home.)

And another thing is ... all the people in the world can try to help you ...
But if you keep turning down every single suggestion that people give you,
or claiming that it can't be done for whatever reason,
people will eventually get the idea that you don't really want to be helped.

First of all,
you have to want to help you.

...Isn't asking for help , emotionally , yes , but also IN DEALING WITH MY CRIPPLED-NESS , isn't asking for help in doing he test/enrollment/counseling enough " practicality " for you ?
I have pointed out that I got as far as I got with the via-computer registration and aid application because I got help from the now-cut-off-from-me female worker ~ Isn't it sufficiently practical to ask for help in making the applications ?
Is your idea that " I'm refusing help " based on thinking that , because I haven't said " Oh boy ! YES , SIR ! I'll do EXACTLY as you said ! " I am " refusing help . Beyond suggestions (which can be valid in their own right , butare simply suggestions) what help have I been offered ?
I have asked for help in maiking the admission and aid computer applicati0ons , I think I have pointed out why I might need that...even more than , WITH MY CRIPPLED-NESS , I need help w/transport to the test/registartion/counseling .
Fr6ankly , I think I have done AMAZINGLY much simply in surviving as long as I have !
Let me also point out this ~ I USED TO have a working phone - I DO NOT anymore ! !! !! !! !! !!
That is because of the disappeared ATM card , which has left me MONEYLESS  !
What things do you think that other people suggested I do , that I should have done but did not ?
Please remember my crippled-ness  and lack of money , just those two .

Tobes and kraftiekortie, for example, have given you some great ideas to help you. If it were me, I've be very grateful to them.

As for your CRIPPLED-NESS and being MONEYLESS ... so was my best friend.
She was bed-ridden and in a wheelchair.
(I also think she may have had autism.)

There are many other things I could say to answer you,
but I want to stick with what's the most important.

Bottom line:

You need a roof over your head.

I agree, along with a place to shower. Whether that's a shelter, a group home, a HUD apartment, SRO, wherever. You need a social worker who can assist you in getting shelter and incontinence supplies. Incontinence wear is covered by Medi-Cal covers $165/month worth of incontinence supplies, but you NEED A PLACE TO LIVE and a SOCIAL WORKER REFERRAL. Get those. That will solve the problem of constantly replacing underwear.

I know you're smart enough to fill out the application.

You should go to a local library and try to get a computer there.

Then go to the CCSF website. You can probably print out the application, or even apply online. I'll research this. If you have to print it out, you'd have to probably pay about 50 cents or a dollar.

If you don't have a vision problem, you could probably fill out the application easily.

If you really want this, you might have to get out of an Aspie "comfort zone." You have to stop thinking of reasons why you can't do this. You have to just go do it. Get there at 8:30 for the 9:00 test. Follow the other students to that other place where they have the orientation. Make sure you shave and maybe get a haircut.

I would also keep up with the HOT team. Go to their headquarters or whatever. Say you want to go to college. Bite the bullet a little bit if they seem condescending.

I feel like, outside of an opportunity to shower and wash clothes frequently, that you should wait until you get an SRO room before you start this. Forget about bringing that "ball and chain."

...Aside from the CCSF application itself , the financial aid application is nessecary ~ and , no - I cannot do them not-knowingly .
And I'm banned from the library , remember ?
I only got this far along in the admission and aide applications because I had the female worker's help !
Getting up at perhaps 5:30 AM to bus to CCSF by 8:45 just isn't do-able - And , yes , I want some help/sympathy :( . (The bus system here is OK - that's not the problem .)

You have my sympathy, my friend.

I wish somebody here lived in the SF area....But I only know of one person who lives in Mountainview, but he hasn't posted in a while.

You can call CCSF at 415-239-3124 when you get a phone. There is an application online/ I would say you can apply online, but I'm not 100 percent sure. Ask the person at 415-239-3124.

You're banned from the big library....but not the small little neighborhood ones.

It would be nice if you had an advocate.

Try to get yourself a placement in an SRO
