I'm probably not nice though...

I'm just weary of watching people fight. I've learned that most people have reasons for doing things and that the key to understanding is to try to see it from their point of view.

Of course, that does backfire on me from time to time.

I get told that I'm naive - I probably am - certainly my experiences haven't been as wide as most people. I'm not as naive as I appear to be, it's just that I'll usually assume that someone has lashed out accidentally and will give them a lot of chances to correct themselves.

Often I'll decide a problem is with myself rather than with the person lashing out because I haven't put enough effort into understanding them.
