I'm being forced to work at my mom's store...with just my mom tomorrow because all other relatives who work at the store will be out of town.

My mom is a psycho alcoholic.

Also I've never worked at this beauty supply and if it gets business I'm not gonna know what the hell I'm, doing because my mom is not gonna teach me anything. And if people come up asing me questions I cant help them. The only purpose I have there is to watch for shoplifters. So I am supposed to sit there looking like an idiot infront of everyone who comes into the store with no purpose and no ability to know what I'm doing or even make eye contact whatsoever.

This is the ultimate social nightmare and I have to do this for at most 10 hours.

Yikes.

Bring a book, and just look up from it every now and then.

You'll get through this okay. Take care. :)

Fake being ill? Keep running to the bathroom and say you have bad diarrhea. Stay in the bathroom forever. Secretly bring a book to read in there. Even better if the store has no bathroom - then you can legitimately go home.
