I'm still reading your letters; I keep them in a collection and I find new truths in them to this day. You knew me better than I knew myself and I dare say, better than anyone has known me. I'm so sorry I can't find the song sheet but I had it for years, and that music still affects me. I can visualize your drawings perfectly. My life ground to a halt after that autumn and I've had difficulty ever since, as I'm sure you saw. I couldn't move forward so I simply stopped moving. I know you tried and all your words were true. I didn't know what to say because I didn't understand what was happening. Looking back, you always did. I'm so sorry. I'm learning day by day, and you've played a massive part in it all, since 1981. I can't thank you enough.

I played nearly all of our song sheet today and felt shivers, but also a lot of good memories. Beyond the pain we went through it's easy to laugh about our black dresses, the pink photo debacle, FH and Lovey, Ozzy or even the October affair. We were so young, but you were wise before your years. I'm processing your letters in therapy and then I need to let the friendship go, so I may decide it's best not to keep them. I don't need them in order to remember the best of times.

I can't even begin to tell you how much respect I have for you, and the hell you lived through. I wish I could go back in time and hug you, or get to know you beyond all the grief you experienced. You gave me the greatest gift of all: my father -- but also the Brontës and so much of who I am including my fortitude. I hope one day we can share our war stories, while getting to know each other better.

It's easy to claim a high success rate for your program when your method of handling 'difficult' cases is to refer them to mental health professionals, and then to count only those that complete your program. Your "100% Success Rate" does not count those people whom you've pushed aside for having ADD, ADHD, ASD, and other developmental disorders.

By the way, calling developmental disorders 'diseases' did not impress me, and I've made it my goal to inform everyone who attended the meeting just how wrong you are and why your methods only seem to be successful -- our head pastor is already concerned about having you come back next month.

Good luck getting any more money out of our congregation, you swindler.
