Am I cursed?

Lately, I wondered whether I am a cursed person. To elaborate:

I think people blame me for the 2007 recession, and to a lesser extent, the current world sitch.

My bad social skills has led to a few friendships ending.

My Homer Simspson-itis has caused more than a few social problems.

I feel sad. Am I really that cursed?

I understand the social problems of Aspies, especially in the more NT-like cultures.

Your self-perception may be warped however. You also may be doing something wrong. For instance I know people who always want to have arguments with everyone and win them and then wonder why they are alone.

I always wondered why people would tend to stick to me even if I was passive myself, and only recently I learned it's because apparently I'm fine with talking about anything and I don't condemn anyone. Also I've been described as a "robot who recognizes a problem and can talk about it but feels meh towards it like towards everything else", dunno if that's a good thing though

I dunno. It's a perception I get from my frenemies when they see me.

Is this a literal thing or are you speaking figuratively? If you are speaking of it in a literal sense then you should talk to your therapist about it as it may be a sign of schizophrenia.

You mean sort of feeling like people will blame you for everything, even ridiculous stuff that you couldn't have possibly done?

I say this one comment when everybody starts acting like it's my fault that something happened or didn't happen, when I had nothing to do with it. I say "Yeah, I did everything. I was also the second gunman on the grassy knoll!" I wasn't even born when that happened, but it's just an exaggeration to show that I'm feeling blamed for everything.

Sometimes when people are upset about something they take it out on folks who are just conveniently there. That may be whats going on sometimes.

Ya know, maybe I may be a tad paranoid about the world...... that plus my poor social skills....
