I was pretty upset that I never got the ball in a game of football that we played at PE today. I mean, it's not that big of a deal, but I was really annoyed.

Does anyone else get upset over things that don't matter?

I often allow irrelevant things to upset me, such as not being able to open a bottle.

Although, if I were in your situation, I'd be relieved that - for once - the ball didn't come to me!

I simply hate losing. Period. I have to win! Nobody else must be allowed to! Why can't things always go my way? It makes no sense! It's too foreign to ever possibly accept! Everything needs to be perfect! I have to win everything--losing is completely unacceptable! Losing is humiliation! Why accept it? It's wrong! Losing is wrong!

Yes. Sometimes little things will really stress me out, like being a few minutes late to work or screwing up a delivery.

I guess I do....... but most of the time, I try not to let it bother me, for the most part.

It's easier for me to get upset over stupid things like missing lights or losing money in the vending machine than it is to get upset over big things like all the death and mayhem in Syria or human trafficking. Not that these things aren't upsetting, it's just that they're almost abstract in that they're so big and far away from my ordinary life. There's not much I can do about it except try to keep informed about stuff that I buy to try and avoid things possibly made by sweatshops and child labor.
