Hospital discharge should include connecting you with a place that WILL work on depression with an autistic person. If you do go back in, make sure you express what a problem you have had (while doing the right things) and ask them to help you find an appropriate connection. You might also call the hospital now and explain what is going on, and ask for help finding an outpatient treatment place.

I hope you feel better soon.

Thank you for the advice and well-wishes. My parents are looking at a list or two of places our insurance will cover, trying to find something that might be a good fit for me. But a lot of the places that work with people on the spectrum are really for people who are significantly lower-functioning than me and wouldn't be set up to help me thrive. It's important for places I may be working with to know I'm autistic, but it's really just the depression and self-harm I need help with right now - which just makes that rejection all the more frustrating.

-6 Still feel like I'm getting nowhere near enough therapy for my current condition, still really want to bleed (ideally using something more than a pin), still wondering if anything can ever address my self-harm issues, yet I'm at the more numbed stage of depression, so I don't feel as bad as I might, just because the depression is dulling my emotions and making me not care so much about much of anything. I'm really getting desperate for something to help with the self-harm, but as it stands, it's the only really effective coping mechanism I've found, and it's the sight of my own blood that causes the sensation I crave - not the pain, not the color, not even seeing someone else bleed or dripping red food coloring on myself does anything at all for me.

0 since often I tend to have days where I'm between feeling a small bit on pleasant realities where at other times feeling unpleasant though, I don't suffer from bipolar disorder, rather just I'm neither in the extreme of the emotional spectrum if this makes sense?
