I think my comfort objects are my books. I even like to hug them sometimes. :)

Books, my cats, and the Internet. I have a favorite Siamese cat site that I love.

Almost forgot to include my laptop. Combination comfort object and discomfort lack-of-object situation. More comfortable if I have it, can't be entirely comfortable if I don't have it (and a way to get online.)

I carry these guys with me in my bag everywhere (and sleep with the dolphin and pig, Dory and Truffles, along with a pile of other plushies):

I also have a very soft blanket with Lightning McQueen from Cars on it...I've had it for about 4 years now, and I always take it with me when I'm going to be sleeping in an unfamiliar place...or even a familiar place, like my mom's house. I just like how soft it is, and I love the fact that it's a Cars blanket, cuz I love Cars. :D

I don't have objects that I carry around with me or hold but I have objects that I need to have around me in a certain place in my room in order to feel conformable............my stuffed animals and my purple bathrobe. This is somewhat embarrassing but one of my stuffed toys is a stuffed white blood cell (anyone remember those "stuffed microbes" ....it's actually very soft and cute. I bought it to give to my Biology professor at the end of my first year back at uni but then I got really attached to it..... sometimes I hold it and pet it.....sometimes kiss it.........when I'm stressed out....and I have anxiety about my health, hypochondria, so it's quite fitting that it's a white blood cell. :)

My laptop. I carry it almost everywhere and even used to take it to parties, when I was invited. It helps me tune out other people when they're drunk (or there are too many of them) and continue feeding my mind's data addiction.

Yeah, kind of like a grounding item? When I'm nervous I play with my belly button ring, even if I have a shirt covering it I'll play with it through the shirt.

Yep but it's kind of weird... and disturbing...
I'll put it up once I find an article so I'm not alone... I somehow remember the news on TV had a coverage of it. That or I was dreamin' it up.
