Ole Boy got remarried

I found out from FB. His son didn't want to tell me. He's very much like one of my own kids and used to hang around here with my kids way before I met the dad. He's very protective of me and very sweet to me, even though he is an insufferable jock, but he's sweet as pie to me and said he didn't want my feelings hurt about his dad, while I'm going through all this other s**t. I told him hurt feelings? I pity the girl who married Ole Boy. I do. She doesn't know what she's getting in to. He's got her fooled with the "competent grown man" facade that he has. It's not exactly true. They say she's a nice girl and it's horrible that he's sucked her into whatever he's sucked her into. I do hope she can handle it. Theres nothing left between me and Ole Boy except friendship now. I got no desire for him any other way. I'd like him to be happy but he's gonna have to quit drinking first. He's also gotten fat.

Just found out about this. I'm surprisingly ok with it.
