If I made it down far enough without falling off the cliff, it looks like this:

I guess the cliff is sort of like the fence.

I see what you mean.

That street view is at sea level though. Runs on like that for mile or so. Not really any barrier between the road and the tracks. And then after the tracks is the ocean.

There doesn't seem to be any deterrent sort of fence or whatever that would prevent you from going down into the tracks.

I thought there was a big drop from near the point where you took the picture-----then a big rise into the railroad tracks. What one may call a "cliff." It's hard to tell in photographs sometimes.

Further up the road looks like this:

It curves downward to where it runs alongside the tracks.

Up ahead, it looks like a cliff that, if you fall down it, would probably prove fatal to you.

Are you able to prevent yourself from going over the barrier into the land beyond the barrier?

That guard rail only runs a tiny way further to the right of that picture. It's there because there's a curve in the road where if someone was going too fast they could drive off the cliff. It's a beautiful drive where you come around the bend and get that view of the sea. Have been driven down it many times.

It looks like a beautiful drive, indeed.

I do see where the guardrail ends.

After the guardrail, the cliff looks really dangerous for one who is curious.

Dead Man's Curve. I've heard that term before and when I looked it up I found this song.

Where I live there's a several places to fall off a cliff or tumble down a steep hillside. I'm not sure if that part is actually a cliff or a hillside. Most of the cost roads are on a plateau. On the other side of the tracks is a sidewalk that's accessed from a railroad crossing. Next time I'm out there if I remember to I'll look to see what kind of terrain it is.

Yep. A very big hit.

And almost prophetic, since Jan of Jan and Dean crashed his motorcycle on a Dead Man’s curve about 2 years after the song was popular.

That's ironic.

This is what that road might look like from ground level. Or it might be more sheer than that. I know there's some sheer cliffs in that area.

That's looking towards the east at the plateau. The other street view of the tracks I posted is looking west.

People who get too close to the edge are buried here lol

I'm at work, so I can't see images. I'll look at it later.

I hope this place is a nice place, and treats you well.

It really looks nice :)

How are you dealing with the future change, Ezra?

Fingers crossed dude and let us know how things are going.

BTW I don't post here much, but I find this to be the most relaxing thread on WP - no offence :)

I'm on waiting for a room to become vacant. It will still be a few months before it becomes available.
