Yup, turn the people you can't stand into game characters you can blast away into oblivion, or evil book characters...

That can help deflect your anger.

Don't let it destroy you like fear and anger that lead to the Dark Side...

I get what you mean, TW1ZTY, that you're not speaking literally (ie non-human creatures masquerading as human) but figuratively.

I also used to think that there are no evil people or "monsters" but rather people who choose to do evil things. I don't believe that now. I agree with you that there are "monsters" in this world. There have always been people who act like monsters.

The trap that much of humanity falls into is believing that everyone has a conscience and that everyone acts on a basis on consciously choosing to do right or wrong, good or evil and all the while knowing the difference. Totally false. A type of "monster" in my opinion is one who literally has no conscience and no remorse for doing harm to others. Most people can't grasp or refuse to accept that such people do exist.

Yes that was exactly my point! It's hard for those of us who have a conscious to imagine that such people exist but in fact they do. They are pure evil because they never care about who they hurt and it's not just about commiting crimes, these people are ESPECIALLY dangerous when they get into a position of power and can do whatever they want to whoever they want (like Caligula). They are the kind of people who ruin entire countries through oppression, war, and fear.

Personally I think we should round them all up and have them shot in the head but unfortunatley no society works that way. It feels like psychos are the ones ruling the world and slowly destroying it over time. :(

I really do think that the majority of people are ok.

It's just that the impact of the few bad ones can be so bad.

I have learned about psychology and learned what behaviours are red flags of sociopaths, emotional vampires, people with borderline personality disorder etc. Once I see these red flags I walk away from those people. I don't let them take advantage of me. I say no to them. I don't bend to their will.

I used to be a very shy person and more apt to be preyed on. But I learned to speak up for myself and I don't draw manipulative people to me anymore.
