I feel for you. My son is on the spectrum, he's now 28. He functions better than I do socially, but has a lower IQ. I have a pretty good IQ, but I suck socially. I would consider him the higher functioning of the two of us.

He hated school. When he was tiny, he screamed and ran when I sat down with flash cards. Always hated school... he was 21 when he finally graduated. My God, I never though we would get that kid through it. He hated reading. I read the books and then wrote a short summary for each chapter. He read my summaries. He just couldn't do it. And I saw no reason to torture him further.

It’s not wise to curse at teachers.

I can't post links, still can't figure it out. But, did anyone see the clip of the substitute teacher in Texas (I believe) who beat the s**t out of that kid and body slammed her? Some cursing was probably involved...

Sorry, I get flight of ideas and when I saw the cursing and how well it worked out, I got sidetracked.

Poor kid was special needs and she was up in his face, she probably triggered him/her. Made a half hearted swat at her and she beat the crap out of him/her. Facing 20 years...

Perhaps one day I'll experience the joy of doing it as a parent :D

I'd rather there be a good reason to curse someone out.

It's not something I really enjoy doing.
