I just can’t help it; most of the time my mind is filled with either anxiety and/or negative thoughts. It’s about to be 2022 and yet despite vaccines and boosters we’re still having this big wave of COVID. I remember a while back Dr. Fauci saying that he predicted the pandemic would be over towards the end of 2021. And at the end of 2021, there’s a damn variant that is evading vaccines. I am fed up with COVID news and concerns being part of our lives.

Oftentimes in the past on New Years Eve I will get together with cousins or friends on a couple occasions. Tonight I’m spending NYE alone and I could at least turn on the New Years Rockin Eve show, but seeing how much fun they would be having would make me feel overwhelmed.

Just another brief thought: seeing couples in public makes me sad and reminds me of how alone I am. Enough said there.

There’s a lot more that I could say, but the jist of it is that my mindset is completely out of whack.

If you be glad those people are having fun, this would rub off on you.

I feel like you would lose the battle if you begrudge people having fun.

I hope you have a better 2022 than 2021.

Happy New Year to you.
