I thought it was something to drink. I guess it can be a leaf vegetable if you eat it.

You can't beat bacon, sausage, fried tomato, beans and fried bread. Not too often though. ;)

There's nothing better than a good old full English breakfast. It can set you up for the day.

I was sure it was going to be "muffin".

English breakfasts sound like an awful lot of food for breakfast to me. What Canadians traditionally eat for breakfast isn't that different from Americans. Better maple syrup for the pancakes, maybe? :) Actually, I seldom buy pure maple syrup because it's not cheap. It tastes good but it's very runny.

I usually eat dry toast for breakfast. If I eat anything sweet I'm hungry again within an hour.

I find dry toast can keep me satisfied for hours.

A full English breakfast for me is a treat that I only have a couple of times a year.

A "full English" takes time to prepare, so those saying "oooh I can't eat first thing" have nothing to fear.

It won't be "first thing" by the time it's cooked.

Fried bread, sausages, bacon, mushrooms, black pudding, baked beans, and some form of egg (scrambled, poached, fried), washed down with gallons of tea.

Fantastic!

Biscuits and sausage gravy in England just wouldn't work as a combination.

I have also eaten full Welsh and full Irish breakfasts. Never had an Ulster Fry, though. Can’t remember if I had a full Scottish whilst in Scotland, probably had proper porridge (made with water and salt).

I don't know about a full Scottish breakfast but I had the best burger ever whilst I was in Edinburgh the other week. It was so good that I have to take it out of the competition when comparing other burgers to it.

Yes, I forgot egg, you gotta have egg, poached or fried.. And mushrooms are nice too. Not bothered about black pudding.

LOL No those biscuits would not work well at all.
Buttermilk Southern biscuits, sort of like a unsweetened scone.
