I'm pretty worried about him, he looks awful and can't stop coughing. He is also a man over 50, apparently the most vulnerable group

He is also a nurse so has been through the wars during the pandemic, I'm amazed he didn't get covid before now.

I just need someone to say, there there, it will all be alright, because I don't have anyone in real life.

Of course everything will be alright! Almost everyone I know has had COVID, including my 88-year-old mother-in-law and her 90-year-old sister, and they've all recovered well.

Just take good care of him and of yourself.

Thank you :) It's lonely having no support network in real life.

Sorry that I'm too far away (here in the land of Neighbours) to offer any practical support, but you're welcome to pm me, if it would help.

I’m sorry to hear that.It seems to be weaker now so he should be all right.
Hot tea with lemon and honey is good for coughs. My son and daughter both had it and made it through ok.
Hope he’s better soon.

Thank you both.

He is feeling a lot better now, he slept better last night and feels more normal, he says.

We're trying to avoid our daughter getting it because she has a college trip next week that she doesn't want to miss!

Glad he's feeling better! Hope he recovers fully soon.

((( Mr and Mrs KitLily!! ))))

Sending healing vibes your way. He's going to be just fine. He must have a very strong immune system if he worked through the pandemic without catching it until now. Let him cough it out and pamper him as much as you can. It'll be gone before you know it! Also, please thank him for his service as a key worker during those terrifying times!

Hopefully he will be fine. It's just like a cold or flu these days (I don't mean before, but now it is). So just look at it as a cold or flu with a bad cough. :)

I'm glad to hear he's getting better. It's totally understandable to be worried about him though, because you love him and it's not nice to see people you love feeling unwell.

Sending hugs.

Thank you for your support, WP friends.

He is a lot better, he is pretty tough. He is one of those men who will go to work even if he's nearly dying. With a previous illness, a terrible flu, I had to put him to bed and say 'you're not going to work' and phone his boss myself.

He said thanks for your kind words about him being a keyworker during the pandemic. He did so well, I'm proud of him. I'm not sure how I got so lucky marrying him tbh. My one supporter.

Ugh. I only got a few minutes of sleep last night. It's like having a newborn baby again with the sleepless nights!

My husband went to work Mon and Tues, but went downhill today and took the day off as he'd been pushing himself too hard, the numpty. But now I'm worse than him so he was taking care of me today!
