Does that mean you are recording them and cleaning them up digitally, or are you physically cleaning them?

both. physically cleaning them as best as possible [one can't get them actually wet due to their hydrophilic construction [they absorb water then self-destruct] but basically de-dusting them as much as possible, then digitizing them, performing algorithmic noise reduction and restoration functions, then burning onto a CDR.

Kudos to you Auntblabby for preserving old tunes . Have a few of those I would like to save. Some of historic value But after the windows 10 change , depleted my ability to format , the CDs. and had just realized , I could get the stereo to interface with the computer . Have a old manual graphic equalizer
but does to some extensive clean up work may be losing track of that devise .

You're a better cook than I am!

What I accomplished: just the usual. Got my butt to work, and did my work. And that's it, really.
