I have an out of date calender with flowers on my wall from last year. I need a new one. lol

I do use them to put events and other things on. I am more organized with a physical calender I can manually cross dates off of.

Do you have any freckles?

Yes I do. I had more when I was little and I remember my mother saying they would go away when I turned eleven (?)

It seems like most of them did, surprisingly, but I have a few. I used to have one on my thigh which exactly at the appropriate length for wearing short skirts at work. A colleague pointed that out like it was a measuring stick lol.

That's funny that you also have an out-of-date calendar. I do keep mine on the right month, at least. :P

Name a song from the first time you had a crush on someone.

I am not sure what song to answer that with, since I don't think I associate a lot of songs with my partners and can't remember a specific one.

Same question. :P

For Dave. My best friend's boyfriend, circa 1981. We did fool around a bit (lol whoops), and I still miss him.

I wouldn't be surprised if we were kind of meant to be together.

Do you like guys with long hair?

I actually do like men with long hair. A lot of guys I've liked have longer hair.

Do you like men with beards?

Sure. Long hair, short hair, bald, beards, goatees, clean-shaven. I'm ... easy ? (lol) I hope you know what I mean.

I don't like when men shave their chest or body hair, that's about my only specific preference.

"I'm... easy?" gave me quite a giggle, Isa.

I guess I'm a bit "easy", too. I don't have hard preferences, but I do slightly prefer men with beards. I also don't prefer men who shave their body hair. I like body hair on people, I'm weird.

Do you shave your body hair, and if you do, do you like doing it?
(I don't know if this is a personal question, but when I thought I was cis I made myself do it and I hated it, so I'm curious.)

I shave my lower legs but I don't do it very often because the hair is quite fine and hard to see. I guess I'm not very hairy lol.

Do I like it? Um, I never really thought about it. It just takes five minutes in the shower when I'm doing a hair conditioner.

I won't do wax or any of those other horrible-looking treatments you see on TV.

I'm glad you stopped doing it if you didn't like it. :P

Do you like slow dancing?

I am really bad at making phone calls. They're so awkward and weird to me.

I also guess I asked the "like" part of my question because I've heard some women say they shave fully out of preference and not expectations, and that they enjoy shaving/waxing. I personally find it a chore. lol

Are you good at handling phone calls?

I was going to say phone calls and verbal communication are among my worst skills. I'm also very bad at expressing emotions verbally. I shut down. In terms of practical skills I'm bad at any outdoor work because I have agoraphobia, scopophobia, and a fear of soil. I'm not good at car repairs either.

I hate phone calls. I've never left a voicemail message in my life. I seldom answer the phone and I get angry when it rings. I avoid making important calls as long as possible. I've even registered with Relay services who will place the calls for me.

The biggest issue I have with phone calls is I can't see the person at all, so I have no idea when to respond. They're also usually unexpected so I can't mentally prepare for them, and it makes me lowkey freak out the whole time.

I have left voicemails before, but I always write down a plan for what I'm going to say and I rehearse it before. I also leave them at times where they won't be seen and replied to until the next day.

What is your least favourite social expectation/rule?

I don't like being invited to ... anything. I don't need to go to your wedding, or celebrate your child's first birthday, or have a glass of wine on your anniversary. I don't like when people plan events far in the future and expect me to go. If I have a shutdown and can't make it I always feel guilty sending my regrets. It would be much nicer if people sent photos and video of their big events, if I ask to see them. Going places in person is always a huge stressor especially when the events are for other people and not myself. Secret tip: Nobody really wants to be invited anywhere.

i can always get out of that because of the animals and the travel, i think americans have lots more of socialising expectations going on; idk i saw a "playdate" and the house was full of people, thats crazy, here at least we do one child at a time (that's for dutch parents, french not much at all, schooldays are very long and rural makes it unpractical also)

Any plans for today?

Not really. I should do some financial paperwork but there's no rush. I hope I can read a bit or work on my book.
